New Album - Indian Violin

My debut Carnatic violin album is now available for digital download on CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon, etc.  The physical CD will be available soon.  I've played the Kambhoji varnam (Sarasijanabha), Pranamamyaham (in Raga Goula), Sripathe (in Raga Nagaswarali) and Yenna Thavam (in Raga Kapi/Pilu).
It was a lot of fun for me! Also on this album are two fantastic musicians - DSR Murthy on mridangam and G. Satya Sai on morsing.

My sister Bindu and I launched a new band called SubraMania.  We had our first show at BFlat in Bangalore on the 25th of May, 2013.

Article from the Deccan Chronicle is here.

I have my own app now, which is available for free download in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.  I'll keep adding more music, pictures and videos. Let me know what you think!

Royal Opera House Muscat

I recently performed at the Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman.  It is a truly spectacular venue.  I got to perform with my family, Dr. L. Subramaniam, Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam and Bindu Subramaniam, which is always fun.  We also had the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Christian Eggen from Norway.  I first met Maestro when I was about seven - I was running around the concert hall when he was conducting my father and sister.  To be collaborating with him now was quite an experience!

Here's an article from the Times of Oman.

Performing at the Skirball Center

I'm excited about performing at the Skirball Center in LA for the first time.  I'm playing as part of Dr. L. Subramaniam's Global Fusion.  The concert also features the incredible Corky Siegel on blues harmonica.

There's a write up on world music central.

Performing with the Seattle Symphony

I'm really looking forward to performing with the Seattle Symphony.  I'll be performing Shanti Priya, a composition for full orchestra and Indian violin, written by my father Dr. L. Subramaniam.

Here's the official press release.
